READ THIS DISCLAIMER CAREFULLY BEFORE USING MANDATED CAPITAL SUBNET

1. Not Financial Advice

Nothing provided by Mandated Capital Subnet (MCS) or Tawf Labs constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice. You should consult with a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions. MCS is a tool for enforcing ethical standards on capital allocation, not a recommendation of where to allocate your capital.

2. High Risk of Loss

Decentralized finance (DeFi) involves extremely high risk, including but not limited to:

  • Complete Loss: You may lose 100% of your deposited assets
  • Smart Contract Risk: Bugs, hacks, and exploits can result in total loss
  • Market Volatility: Crypto asset prices can fluctuate wildly
  • Liquidity Risk: You may be unable to withdraw funds during market stress
  • Oracle Failure: Protocol compliance analysis depends on third-party oracles
  • Regulatory Risk: Laws and regulations may change unpredictably

NEVER deposit more than you can afford to lose completely.

3. No Guarantees

MCS makes absolutely no guarantees regarding:

  • The accuracy of TEPS compliance determinations
  • The safety or security of any integrated protocol
  • The availability or functionality of smart contracts
  • The protection of funds from loss or theft
  • The performance of any assets or strategies

Even protocols marked as "compliant" may fail, be hacked, or suffer from unforeseen vulnerabilities. Compliance does not equal safety.

4. AI Oracle Limitations

MCS uses AI-powered oracles (via Chainlink Functions and Claude) to analyze protocol compliance. You acknowledge and understand that:

  • AI analysis may be incomplete or incorrect
  • Documentation may be misleading or outdated
  • Malicious actors may attempt to manipulate oracle outputs
  • Oracle downtime or failure may prevent operations
  • TEPS rules may not capture all relevant risks

The presence of an AI compliance system does not eliminate the need for your own due diligence.

5. Testnet Warning

Current Status: MCS is currently deployed on the Avalanche Fuji testnet. Testnet tokens have no real-world value. This is a demonstration environment for testing purposes only. Do not use real funds or mainnet wallets with the current deployment.

6. Irreversible Transactions

All blockchain transactions are final and irreversible. Once you sign a transaction, it cannot be undone. If you make a mistake, fall victim to a scam, or experience a technical failure, your funds may be permanently lost. Always verify transaction details in your wallet before signing.

7. Security Best Practices

To protect yourself, you should:

  • Only interact with official URLs starting with our verified domain
  • Verify smart contract addresses from official sources
  • Never share your private keys or seed phrase with anyone
  • Be skeptical of unsolicited messages or offers
  • Start with small amounts to test functionality
  • Keep your wallet software updated

8. No Fiduciary Duty

Tawf Labs and MCS contributors have no fiduciary duty to users. The relationship is purely transactional in nature. We do not act in your best interest—we provide code that you may choose to interact with at your own risk.

9. Jurisdictional Restrictions

MCS may not be available or legal in all jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of MCS complies with local laws and regulations. Residents of restricted jurisdictions should not access this platform.

10. Acceptance of Risk

By using MCS, you acknowledge that you have read this disclaimer, understand the risks involved, and voluntarily assume all responsibility for any losses or damages that may result from your use of the platform. You waive all claims against Tawf Labs and MCS contributors for any such losses.
